Student & Parent Orientation Session
Sunday, August 28, 2022- 1-2:30pm Baker Memorial UMC St. Charles
Sunday Classes begin September 11, 2022
Classes are every Sunday from 1-2:30pm and will rotate between Batavia, Baker Memorial and UMC of Geneva. Locations will be published with the final schedule in August 2022.
Fall Prayer Retreat – TBD
A 3-hour retreat held at Baker Memorial UMC.
Fall Break – October 9, 2022 – No Class
Active Winter Break Nov 27 – Jan 7
Between our last class on November 20, 2022 and when we resume classes on January 8, 2023 – we will arrange for a field trip to area congregations. We require students to attend roughly half of the available field trips with members of their family and report on the experience when we return on Jan. 8.
Sunday Classes resume January 8, 2023
Attend Ash Wednesday Service – February 22, 2023
Spring Break – April 2 & 9, 2023
Participation or attendance in some of the Holy Week Services will be encouraged.
Closing Retreat – TBD
A 3-4 hour retreat held at Baker Memorial UMC. Attendance at this retreat is critical: students will make stoles, have photos taken, etc.
Confirmation Sunday – May 7, 2023
Students will be confirmed in their local congregations. Confirmation Rehearsal and Interviews will precede confirmation Sunday on a schedule determined by each individual church.
